New: Save your shared surfing sessions with a free Channel.me account

A new sign-up option is making it easier than ever to share web surfing through Channel.me. By signing up, users can invite friends to join in a surf together session more easily, while saving past browsing information for future get-togethers. Sessions are saved automatically, making it easy to pick up where you left off.

Collaboration is quicker, too. Log in to your account, and you’ll immediately see who is online in which session. A simple mobile text message to a friend, "I'm online," and you'll be web surfing together without having to launch a new session every time.

The service is still free, of course.
Users who don’t choose to sign up still have free access to channel’s social surfing tools.
