In February we introduced a new section to the support user's chat interface, which provides details about the Visitor's computer/device, with the aim of supplying your staff with as much information as possible to help them resolve queries faster.
These details include information about the type of device the Visitor is using, the device's operating system, it's screen size, and where possible details about the speed of their internet connection. We also provide information about the web browser software the Visitor is using, whether cookies are enabled in that browser, along with other ancillary details.
This information is initially "collapsed" to keep the support user's interface focused on the Visitor's message, but can be easily expanded with a click and hidden again once used.
