Security is very important for us. Our core application platform has recently been updated with new security features. We are going to enable these features. We will enable a rate limit for authentication requests. This will make it much harder for automatic password guessing scripts to login. And we will enable automatic session timeouts. This will cause users to logoff automatically when they are inactive. We are also going to upgrade the security of the channel.me website by no longer supporting insecure network connections.

These improvements are mostly invisible, but improve the security of the channel.me platform.
